A big Lulu update is coming soon!

Sensitive Sexual Medicine

By prioritizing getting regular patient and community feedback and by partnering with our talented market analyst to closely examine and understand the most impactful shortages of medical providers affecting Nevadans, LuLu's team has remained dedicated to keeping open minds and remaining flexible so that we are always prepared to shift gears and adjust or add to our service offerings in an effort to best fill our communities' most critical healthcare gaps and do what we can to help patients receive the most appropriate services in a timely

Primary Care

We have seen a shift in patients requesting sexual health and gyn-related services less over time and asking for services more in line with primary care practices. Many of the first successful virtual health practices started out offering services related to sexual and women's health, and there aren't very many signs that the launching of these clinics will slow in the foreseeable future. These virtual clinics often focus on gathering subspecialized experts throughout the nation and tend to focus on offering high-quality services within their subspecialty of expertise. Some clinics will offer a larger range of services, but a lot of these clinics, particularly the most successful ones, stick to offering a handful of related, or semi-related, services.  Some examples of the primary focuses of these clinics include the management of symptomatic perimenopause and menopause—including hormone replacement therapy and non-hormonal options, contraceptive counseling and management, STI/HIV screening and treatment, gender-affirming hormone therapy, and preventative care for cisgender women (mammograms, health maintenance labs, osteoporosis screening, and colon cancer screening). Additionally, cutting-edge companies are pioneering diagnostic tools that help women address chronic, non-sexually associated vaginal infections. These types of evaluations are almost always paired with personalized prescription treatment plans and direct-to-patient medication delivery. What is particularly exciting is to see that more and more of these quality, evidence-based virtual practices are beginning to take insurance or offer reasonable subscription plans.

Please sign up for our newsletter if you haven't already. We plan to create a page in the near future to list some of the names of the clinics described above.

Likewise, we are working on a similar list of virtual specialty clinics that are non-gender-specific. Examples include Sleep Medicine practices, Addiction Specialty Clinics, PT/OT,  and even clinics or individual providers offering services on rare, complex, "Zebra syndromes."

LuLu's Plans

LuLu NPs will continue to offer all of our sexual health and women's specialty services virtually; however, we are working on plans to offer our services through different platforms that will allow us to accept more insurance payers or, for uninsured/underinsured patients, lower-cost subscription plans.

We are excited to announce more details about our plans in the upcoming weeks! Through LuLu's brand and established private practice, we absolutely have plans to continue offering innovative programs focused on where we are still finding substantial gaps and shortages of care providers.

Thank you for your patience during this transition period. We will not be booking new patient appointments this month as we are focused on polishing our plans. If you are interested in being part of our practice in the future, please send us your information via the subscription link below. We will likely be announcing more and more details about our changes through the end of May. In June, we will begin reaching out to our waitlist and do our best to accommodate anyone who has expressed interest in scheduling a first-time appointment.
